What is TNUSRB ?

Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board

TNUSRB (Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board) conducts the exams for various posts in Tamil Nadu State. The examination to fill up the police posts for sub-inspector (Taluk, Armed Reserved, and Tamil Nadu Special Police) is also conducted by the same board. The applications from both, fresh candidates and departmental candidates are invited by TNUSRB every year.

Police Department

The selection process of the TNUSRB SI exam consists of three main stages.
STAGE 1: Written Exam The first stage to clear the TNUSRB SI examination is the written test. The written test is divided into two parts, Part A and Part B.
STAGE 2: PMT/ PET/ EU Tests The second stage to clear the TNUSRB SI Exam is the PMT/ PET/ EU Tests. Below are given the standards of different tests.
STAGE 3: Interview Those who clear both the above-mentioned stages are called for final interview or viva voice which consists of 10 marks for both open and departmental candidates. This is to test the communication skills and problem-solving ability of the candidates.
