1. Age Limit – The maximum age limit of the candidates should be 40 years as on 1st July 2021 & under revision by Gov of TN.
2.Education Qualification – Minimum qualification required to apply for Teacher Eligibility Test, Tamil Nadu, depends on paper I or II, as per TN Govt ministerial staffs.

Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) is a state-level written exam organized to recruit skilled and efficient teachers for Primary and Upper Primary levels in the Tamil Nadu state. This exam consists of 2 papers. The first paper is for class I to class V and the second paper is for class VI to class VIII. Based on the performance in the written exam, the candidates will be given a TET certificate. The validity of the certificate is seven years.
